These are some of the things C. Flynt has been up to, some of our personal lives, some reviews of things we've read, some stuff we've learned.

The blogs are organized by date.

Comments will appear when we've had time to check them. Apology for the inconvenience, but it's a way to keep phishers and spammers off the page.

With nicer weather, Caz wants to explore the woods.

Other four-footed folks think the woods belong to them.

This morning, we encountered a doe-in-residence during our Lewis and Clark expedition.

We were within twenty feet of it when Caz barked and lunged. The deer just stared at us, probably wondering what we were doing in its kitchen.

Then it stamped one foot at us.

Caz did nothing about the stamping, so I stamped back.

The deer stamped its other foot.

So I stamped my other foot.

We went back and forth like this for several minutes while I sang the old Cha-Cha song. I stomped in time with my music, but the deer never learned how to dance properly.

Stupid deer. I mean, I wasn't trying to do anything complex like a Mazurka or Tango. No twirls or jumps, and certainly no cheek-to-cheek. This was just a simple stomp-stomp cha-cha-cha.

I guess there is no Arthur Murray school for deer.
