These are some of the things C. Flynt has been up to, some of our personal lives, some reviews of things we've read, some stuff we've learned.

The blogs are organized by date.

Comments will appear when we've had time to check them. Apology for the inconvenience, but it's a way to keep phishers and spammers off the page.

May first would have been Carol and my 31'st anniversary. I had breakfast with a friend and had a book group meeting in the evening. I try to not have too much time to brood on these days.

A few months ago a friend found old VCR tapes that included the concerts Caroll did with her two co-singers at X-Con in 1992.

About halfway through, I joined them. This was the first time Carol and I performed together in public. After a couple songs, another friend joined us and we did my a capella arrangement of Cream's "Tales of Brave Ullyses".

This is the only time we ever performed the song, and I thought it was lost forever.

Our concert is now available on Youtube at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B3cSsK78mCg&feature=youtu.be

I spent an evening in 1992, a year before Carol and I were married. By this time we'd pretty much decided we were going to be married (we'd known each other for almost a year), but hadn't set any dates. It was probably the peak of our romantic limerance period when we pushed Ma Bell into the black by talking on the phone for hours every night and kept Amtrak solvent by visiting each other every weekend.

Finding these recordings are bittersweet moments. I'm so lucky that I have more than just pictures and memories. Carol's music was such a large part of her life.

I met Tory Gates at Cleveland Concoction a month or so ago. He does podcasts about writers and writing and asked if I'd be willing to be interviewed.

Like, yeah!
